5/11/08 – Molly sadly passed away on 8th September 08 after a short illness. Her family have sent the following tribute;
Molly, your photo on the website caught many people’s hearts, but most of all you caught and captured mine. I picked you up and brought you home. Your Dad fell in love with you, your eyes, your nose and your dainty toes – a Daddy’s girl you became. You stayed a year, but it felt like more and never will you be forgotten. We love you lots and miss you loads … our darling Molly Masham. Enjoy the freedom you now have and play with all the others that greeted you on passing.
Love Mum, Dad, Jamie, Sophie Russell, Faith and Barney woof woof, xxxxxx

11/3/2007 We are delighted to hear that Molly has gone to her new home after being spotted on the Oldies Club website! She has been adopted by a wonderful family with other dogs for company. She coped well with the journey to her new home and, after investigating her new surroundings, settled down ready to enjoy a happy, comfortable retirement. Read her Rehoming Story.
————————
Molly is a 12-14 year old small/medium sized collie cross lady who was a stray and is now at the Ark in Lincolnshire. She is about the same size as a fox terrier.
This poor sweet girl is really suffering in kennels in the cold weather. She stood shivering to have her photo taken then went straight back to her bed. After hearing of Molly’s plight, K9Knitters have kindly sent a woolly coat to help keep her warm until she finds her forever home. She’s modelling it in the photo below.
She is a friendly little dog but was bewildered at finding herself in kennels and really feeling the cold. At her age, she should be tucked up warm and safe in a caring, loving home. She desperately needs to find the special person who will make this possible.
At her vet-check it was found that Molly has a mild heart murmur, but the vet is not concerned as that’s quite common in older dogs. The vet agrees that she is 12-14 years and says that she’s in quite good condition for her age.
Molly has been in the Ark’s yard with some of the other older dogs and she’s beginning to come out of her shell and is proving to be quite a character. She is fine with other dogs but she hates cats! It isn’t known how she is with children.
Sweet Molly has found her new home but if you are interested in another Ark oldie, please contact the Ark on 01507 358140; alternatively, email p.pearcy@ntlworld.com or Thisisme16432368@aol.com.
