Poppy found a home with a lovely lady but, very sadly, after a couple of months in her new home Poppy’s health deteriorated rapidly and she died whilst being treated at the vets. Sleep tight beautiful Poppy.

————————————-

Poppy is a lovely old lady, a 14 year old black labrador X who is in foster with Suffolk Animal Rescue.

Poppy has a lovely nature and is good with everything. She still loves her walks and wags her tail the whole way. She is very well behaved in the home and loves nothing better than to curl up on her quilt.

Poppy has a very healthy appetite, to say the least !! As a labrador cross she is perhaps a little at risk from overeating, so her new home will need to be prepared to stick to a sensible diet for her.

She loves company and just wants to be part of what is going on but equally she is very good if you leave her. She travels very well in the car and is up for most adventures.

Although she is 14 years old she is incredibly good health and will hopefully be able to give someone a lot of pleasure for a good few years yet. The only problem this old girl does encounter is the stairs and this can be a problem as she does like to come to bed with you !!

Poppy will be a really special pet in the right home. Please contact SAR on email@suffolkanimalrescue.org.uk or ring Jayne on 01728 860937 if you would like to find out more about Poppy, or offer her a lovely new home! Don’t forget to mention the Oldies Club.
