9/3/2006 Poor Sunny has died. Rest in peace, Sunny.

4 year old crossbreed Sunny is a classic example of a dog deteriorating due to spending too much time in a kennel, so he needs to get out ASAP.

FOAL Farm are urgently appealing for Sunny’s perfect home.

This dog could not cope with another ‘bounce back’ from a home, so it is vital he finds his ideal home, who will be committed to helping him overcome the stress he is currently suffering from, and committed to offering him a home for the rest of his life.

Most dogs release their stress by charging around inside their kennels, but Sunny has accumulated his strain over time, and can be depressed, nervous, and insecure.

However, there is good news. Martin and Colin, FOAL Dog Rehomers, have each fostered Sunny, and feel they have sussed him out pretty well. They, and FOAL, will support any applicant all the way through, including after adoption. Sunny has been perfectly safe and secure when with Martin or Colin, so we know he will be excellent in a home environment, given time, patience and understanding.

Sunny will avoid small children and cats, prefer a quieter home, and is quite happy to live with other dogs.

As it will take a few months for Sunny to de-stress, be prepared for sudden mad moments like running up and down stairs and round and round in mad circles in the garden!

If you are prepared to offer Sunny a dedicated, loving home for life – more important than ever in his case – please contact manager@foalfarm.org.uk or phone 01959 572386 between 1.30 – 4.30 any day except Tuesday – please don’t forget to mention the Oldies Club!
