11/3/2006 Unfortunately, Hugo had to be put to sleep this week due to liver failure. However, he has left a lovely legacy as some of the people who were interested in Hugo have instead rehomed other oldies from East Anglian SBT Club.

Hugo is a gorgeous red Staffordshire Bull Terrier boy, approximately 12-13 years old. He is innocolated and castrated. He was originally a stray, and stayed in the stray kennels for about 3 months before arriving with the East Anglian SBT Club .
Hugo is currently in a foster home, where he has settled very well (within a few minutes of arriving actually! :-) ) He is house trained and not destructive if left. He enjoys his walks but doesn’t pester you for them if he doesn’t get them so would suit an elderly couple. He’s not overly keen on cats and is a loving boy with impeccable manners – Hugo loves everyone that comes into the foster home, including children.
Hugo is a very gentle boy who is well trained on the lead, doesn’t pull. He enjoys his exercise but equally could be happy to just potter in the garden.
Hugo is very friendly, he may be getting deaf but he is clean in the house and not destructive. He loves to sleep!
Hugo is off the the vets next week to have a couple of teeth removed other than this he is quite a healthy boy for his age – he just needs somewhere to call his own… could you be the one to offer it?
If you could give Hugo a loving permanent home, please contact Wendy on 01945 870841 – don’t forget to mention the Oldies Club!
