11/11/2007 Sad news about Lester: he has had to be PTS as he had lymph cancer.
Meadowgreen tell us “He was his lively old self right to the last. It just makes it all the sadder that his last year was in kennels although he was a very happy boy while he was here and a great favourite among all our dog walkers. We all miss him”.
Rest in peace, Lester.

Lester is a lovely lurcher of around 7 years of age. He was found wandering as a stray during a thunderstorm. Meadowgreen expected him to claimed the following day, but sadly no-one has come forward for him and he is looking for a new home.
Lester loves people, including children. He knows all of his commands such as sit, stay, and so on.
Lester needs a cat-free home and he can be choosy about which dogs he likes! But he’s a really affectionate boy and will make a lovely companion for his new owner.
