7/8/08 Tinker has found a home!
——
15 year old Tinker came into RSPCA Middlesex NW branch care when his owner had to make the very difficult decision to sign him over, so she could move into sheltered accommodation.
Tinker has had to leave the only home he has ever known, and initially the change was a little daunting. But now he is striding round his foster home as if he owns the joint!
Tinker is a very friendly cat who had a couple of cat friends he liked to hang out with in his old neighbourhood, but he prefered the girls (like all boys!) so the RSPCA would be happy for Tinker to go to a home with an existing female cat.
Despite his age, he is an active chap who still likes to survey his land and patrol the outer rim, so a garden is essential.
Tinker has an overactive thyroid for which he is receiving daily medication. It is hoped that once this settles down he will be able to have an operation to have his thyroid removed, which will mean the end to all the medication and he can lead a normal life.

Rescue’s rehoming policy:
The RSPCA Middlesex North West Branch is a small branch of the RSPCA based in the North West London and Watford area. Please note you will be required to have a home visit prior to meeting the cats, and there will be a donation to pay on signing the adoption papers. We are happy to rehome our cats anywhere in the country, within reason, as long as you are able to come to us to meet the cats and are able to safely transport them home.
