23 November 2013: We have very sad news this evening :-( Billy took a turn for the worse and the decision was made to let him go. Our thoughts are with his fosterer Donna and her family who have done a wonderful job caring for little Billy for nearly 5 years on behalf of Oldies Club. They are devastated and will miss him dreadfully. Sleep tight little man.
Update – Gorgeous little Billy has a dry-eye condition which means he will need expensive daily eye drops and regular tests and check-ups for the rest of his life. We have therefore decide that Billy will stay in his foster home permanently as an Oldies Club sponsor dog.

Beautiful little Billy Bob arrived as a dear little 12 year old Lhasa Apso. He has settled very well in his foster home and his carers say that he is a pleasure to have. He is a friendly little chap who is enjoying going out for short walks each day and saying hello to everyone he meets whether humans or dogs! He is a bit nosey and likes to sniff along the way. He seems to be very fit, if a little overweight. The only problem he has is a dry eye which is treated with eye drops.
Billy is very keen on pampering and just loves to be bathed and brushed. He likes his naps in the morning and afternoon and is happy to rest anywhere that is soft and comfy! He also likes to rest his head on your foot when you are watching tv! Billy is left for a few hours in the morning while his foster carer is at work and is always there to greet you with a waggy tail and sometimes a little bark. Look at him on his cushion, isn’t he just adorable?!
Billy is currently living with 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 rabbits and he loves children ! So there is no doubt that he’s the perfect family pet. He has loads of love to give and does not ask for much apart from a soft comfy bed and lots of fuss!
Billy has been vet-checked since coming into our care. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and flea and worm treated.
If you would like to help us care for Billy, please consider taking part in our sponsor scheme.
