11/4/2009 Kim’s foster mum has sadly informed us that Kim has passed away. At least she had a few weeks in a kind and loving home and wasn’t in kennels.

Beautiful Kim was saved from being put to sleep after her owner died. She is now in a foster home under the care of German Shepherd Rescue Surrey.

Kim is a playful girl, 10 years old who loves to fetch and retrieve toys. Considering that she was kept in a confined space with very little human company, it is amazing how well she is coming on. She responds well to commands and is learning very quickly how to take treats softly. She loves affection but feels overwhelmed if too many strangers try to pet her at the same time.
Kim is vaccinated, microchipped and has had a thorough medical with no problems.

This gorgeous girl is good on the lead, although she stops to sniff everything! Kim is fine with other dogs and has met a cat in her foster home and just ignored him. She has not been tested with children though.

As you can see from her pictures, Kim has lots of life in her and is going to make a super companion for her new people. She just needs to find that new home with people who will give her that second chance in life.
