28/03/2009  Tilly has found her new home.

Tilly finds herself in rescue because her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. She is being rehomed by Blue Cross Bromsgrove Adoption Centre in Worcestershire.

Tilly can be quite shy in new situations and has not being used to playing, so new owners who would take the time to teach her to play would be lovely! That would also help to build her confidence. Tilly is more than happy to have all the attention you can give her as well as grooming which she enjoys.

If there is another cat in the home that is fine providing it is older than Tilly and doesn’t pester her. It may also be possible for Tilly to live with a dog providing a dog test at the centre went well. As she is quite shy a home with teenagers and adults only would be most suitable.
Tilly can be left for up to 8 hours as long as there is a cat flap for her.

If you would love to teach Tilly how to play and build her confidence, please contact Blue Cross Bromsgrove Adoption Centre as follows:

Telephone: 0121 453 3130
Email: bromsgrove@bluecross.org.uk

Please mention that you saw Tilly on the Oldies Club website.

Blue Cross advise you to phone or email to make sure this cat is still available before you visit. To reserve a cat you would need to visit the adoption centre and complete the necessary paperwork with a member of staff.

Summary of Rescue’s Rehoming Policy
When potential owners visit the centre they are asked to fill out a homefinder form. This enables us to see what kind of cat they are looking for. If interested in a particular cat, a member of staff discusses the cat’s history and ensures the owners are best suited to the cat. A homecheck is carried out after a reserve is put on and all members of the family are asked to visit the cat at least twice to get to know it better.
