At their Annual General Meeting in October 2009 Haslemere & District Dog Training Club nominated Oldies Club as their Charity of the Year. On 28th March 2010 they organised a sponsored walk to raise funds for Oldies Club.
The plan was to meet at Frensham at 10am and then take part in a six mile walk. The event was well attended by many members of the training club and a number of fosterers and supporters for Oldies Club.
Patricia Bland, Secretary for Haslemere & District DTC believes that between £500 and £600 has been raised from the walk which is a wonderful amount and the committee are thrilled as this will allow us to help more older dogs in need.
