On Wednesday 12th May 2010 Oldies Club were invited to take part in the Pet Club feature on ITV’s This Morning programme. The feature hosted by our wonderful patron Marc Abraham was about choosing the right dog.
Laura Edbrooke our London Regional Co-ordinator along with her Oldies Club dog Tess agreed to go on the show on our behalf to get across the message of how wonderful older dogs are and how they suit a variety of different home environments.
After the piece went out we received a surge of traffic to our website which caused our server to go down at one point. Thankfully our webmistress was quick to sort the issue out. We are aware of a number of rescues that have had enquiries as a result of the show and we hope these will result in older dogs finding their forever homes.
