18.02.11   Only four weeks after the loss of her best mate Josie, beautiful Bella (now almost 14) went to join her.   She had spent almost four years in her forever home and during that time had welcomed many Oldies foster dogs into her home.   Her generosity of spirit and her gentle, loving personality made her such a special dog and she will never be forgotten.

6/7/07 – Gentle Bella is going to her new home this weekend!
_______________________________________________________________________________

Bella is a fit, 10 year old Golden Retriever. She is an older lady but is quite used to walking for up to 5 miles a day. She is used to living with dogs, cats and children and is exceptionally gentle and laid back. She would be ideal for a retired couple, or any family that want a calm, quiet dog. However, she does need lots of exercise to keep her fitness up and stop her becoming overweight. She loves to find muddy puddles and lie in them, so she still has a mischievous streak! Bella loves company and needs someone at home most of the day. She will make a lovely companion.

Bella is a very large Retriever with a very thick coat. She has some hair loss around her eyes, apparently due to over active sebaceous glands. This gives a dark appearance around her eyes. She also has a fatty lump on her back, which was tested a year ago and found to be benign. She will be having a thorough MOT at the vet and a good groom before re-homing. Otherwise, she appears to be in good health. She is spayed and has been regularly vaccinated.

Bella is currently in Richmond Upon Thames, London, under the care of ARC. She is being re-homed because of a change in circumstances and a full home check will be carried out before she can be adopted.

If you can offer Bella a loving home in her retirement please contact Becky on 0208 607 9902 or email: arc@animalrescueandcare.org.uk

Please mention that you saw Bella on the Oldies Club website.
