11/6/2011 Oscar has a lovely new home to go to :)
—————
Oscar is 8 years old and desperate for a new home. He was adopted a year ago from the Blue Cross but, through no fault of his own, has been returned. He’s a bit bewildered at the moment and needs a loving home where he can settle down for the rest of his life.
Oscar enjoys spending time with people and loves being stroked – he soon starts to purr! He has a healthy appetite, but is slightly overweight at the moment and is therefore looking for an owner who will encourage him to play to help him keep fit and lose some weight.
Oscar is happy to be handled and groomed, which should be done at least weekly as he is finding this a little difficult while he is overweight. Oscar would suit someone who is experienced with older cats and who will give him space when he wants it and affection on his own terms. Oscar is not used to other cats, so we feel that he would be better as an only pet and in a low cat populated area. He enjoys being in the garden and he is used to using a cat flap. He is also litter trained.
Can you give Oscar that loving friendly home where there are comfy spots to lay, perhaps in front of the fire or on your lap when sitting on the sofa! Have you got room in your heart to offer Oscar the home he deserves?
Oscar is in The Blue Cross Rehoming Foster Scheme. If you are interested in giving him a home please contact the Blue Cross as follows:
