5/5/12 – Basil has gone to his new home, but Horus is still looking.
—————————————-

Basil and Horus are two adorable older cats who were brought into the care of Fife Cat Shelter due to the ill health of their owner. Basil is a ten year old tabby and his pal, Horus, is black and white and twelve years old.

These two boys have been together since they were just six weeks old so they would love to find a home together, but could be separated if the right homes are available. They are very friendly and gentle and are undemanding cats so should be quite low maintenance. Horus is the more independent of the two and doesn’t seek as much attention as Basil. They love sleeping on a comfy cushion and always come to greet you when you get home.

The rescue were told that Basil and Horus were house cats, but they feel sure they would adapt quite well to having access to a garden. At the moment they are being cared for in a cattery because the cat shelter is full and whilst Basil seems very happy to stay indoors, Horus likes to go out now and again. Horus is very fond of his catnip too!

Basil and Horus are neutered, vaccinated and have been vet checked and flea and worm treated. They really don’t need very much at all, just a loving home where they can enjoy some human company and a cosy retirement.
