Beautiful Fudge (Oldies Club, fostered Manchester)

Fudge, a beautiful 13 year old Schnauzer x Bearded Collie, came into Oldies Club care along with her son, Spike, after the death of their owner.

Fudge and Spike settled nicely at their foster home and both seemed to be fit and well, and so we were shocked when the vet diagnosed Fudge with a very serious heart defect. Shortly after the diagnosis, Fudge collapsed on a walk and progressively became critically ill. Fudge tragically died of heart failure at the vets.

We are so very sorry for Fudge’s lovely foster family who took such good care of Fudge right to the end. They are very special people.

The good news for Spike is that after losing his mum, his foster carers have decided to adopt Spike.
