2/12/12 Sadly Ruby’s health deteriorated and she had to be put to sleep. Rest in Peace sweet girl.
————————–
Meet Ruby, a very cute and lively Patterdale terrier girl who finds herself looking for a new home with the help of National Animal Welfare Trust after being picked up as a stray. She is around 12 years old.
Ruby is a clever girl and has plenty of tricks up her sleeve. She will respond to ‘sit’, ‘paw’, and ‘down’ and she also likes to do a very cute ‘roll over’.
Ruby likes her cuddles but more than anything, she likes to be on the go. She would walk for hours if you’d let her and would love to have a garden where she can run around and burn off some energy, as well as do the odd bit of sun bathing.
Ruby finds cats much too tempting to chase and cannot live with them. She could live with a very calm male dog, but would be just as happy as your only pet. She gets along well with older children, especially if they will play with her in the garden.
Ruby is getting quite stressed in kennels because of the other dogs barking and she really hopes her new family will come along soon.
Ruby is on long term medication, please contact the centre for details.
