Sam was a gorgeous 15 year old small Terrier Cross who came into our care because his owner was going into hospital.
Sadly, at his vet-check, Sam was diagnosed as having kidney failure and, despite a fluid flush and medication, his condition gradually worsened. His foster carer went the extra mile with Sam’s care and cooked him a variety of delicious meals to tempt him to eat as his appetite gradually failed.
After 6 short weeks in our care, Sam had reached the point where the only kind option was to let him go. Our thoughts are with his lovely foster carer who took such good care of Sam and was with him to the end.
