4 March 2015 ~ We are very sorry to have to update Judy’s page with the very sad news that she has passed away. Judy came into our care with numerous health problems and her wonderful foster family have taken such great care of her for us, during the last ten months, and filled her time with them with love. Our thoughts are with her forever foster family at this sad time. Sleep tight, beautiful girl x

Pretty Judy is a 10 ten year old crossbreed lady who was being transported into Oldies Club care when it became apparent that all was not well. She was found to have a bleeding mammary tumour on investigation at the vets as well as chronic ear infection. After further x-rays and then surgery organised by Oldies Club, sadly the test results showed that Judy has cancer which has spread to her lymphatic system. This was devastating news as everyone had been keeping their fingers crossed for a good outcome. For this reason Judy will stay in Oldies Club care as a sponsor dog and will be well looked after for the rest of her days.
In spite of her health issues and the pain she has been in, Judy is a happy girl who still has a good appetite and gets on well with everyone in her foster family, including the other animals :-)
You can see from these lovely photos that Judy is being given a wonderful quality of life in her foster home and this will continue for the rest of her days but already her vet bills have reached £1000, therefore Oldies Club will be very grateful if anyone is able to help by donating to her fund. Judy is such a beautiful dog and has melted the hearts of people she has met recently. It is very sad that she is so poorly but comforting to know that with help from Oldies Club and very kind supporters that she will be so well looked after.
