Megan, a beautiful 16 year old Border Collie came into the Oldies Club rescue because her owner was in hospital and wouldn’t be able to look after her when he left hospital.
Megan was in a poor state when she came to us. She was seen by a vet and was found to have many health issues, the most worrying of which was a large mass which seemed to be on her liver. Megan was given every home comfort by her lovely foster carers for the short time she had left. When Megan collapsed and couldn’t get up, the vets confirmed that nothing more could be done and so darling Megan was put to sleep peacefully.
Megan was such a special girl and she touched the hearts of so many in the short time she was in our care. Our thoughts are with her foster carers at this sad time.
