—————-

This lovely boy is Chunk and what a handsome little man he is!  He is a gorgeous brindle and white Bulldog cross who is desperate to find a new home of his own. He is almost 7 years old and has a heart of gold.  He is now in the care of a fantastic sanctuary in the north of England until he finds a loving new home.

Chunk has a very sad story to tell.  He had been a beloved pet living with a family who all absolutely adored him until one day his whole world came tumbling down around him. Unfortunately an intruder came into his home and Chunk being the loyal boy that he is bit the intruder trying to protect his family.  Because of this, Chunk’s owner was not considered a fit person to have him back after the court case ruled that he should have prevented Chunk from biting a man Chunk saw as an intruder.

After the incident, he was taken away and a destruction order was issued. Thankfully the wonderful people at the rescue fought hard on his behalf with the help of lots of donations to prove he is not vicious in anyway and the courts wholeheartedly agreed.  So now this dear lad is looking to find a special someone who will give him the new home he deserves where he will be loved and cherished always.

Cheeky Chunk is a charming chap who is very loving and affectionate.  His control order states who he is allowed to live with a how he must behave in public.  He is now looking for a new home in a different area away from Merseyside.  He is great with children and so sweet and gentle, but will now need to be rehomed without any children in his new home and can only live with adults over 18 years old.

He loves going for walks and walks well on the lead.  He would enjoy a nice couple of walks everyday.  He does now need to wear a muzzle whilst out of the home and must stay on the lead at all times.

Chunk used to live with another dog in his home and they got on well together. He will now need to live in a home without any other pets, but on the bright side, he is sure to enjoy having you all to himself and will not mind being spoiled with lots of cuddles and kisses too!

He is a real sweetheart and a bright boy.  He knows lots of commands like “sit”, “paw”, “lay down” to name but a few and will happily show them off to you, especially if he gets rewarded with a tasty treat or a cuddle.

This beautiful boy has been through so much and through someone else’s stupidity his life has unfortunately changed forever.  Chunk has been in kennels far too long now and its time he found his own knight in shining armour who will love and protect him always.

Chunk has a full behavioural report which has been prepared for him. He will go to his new home with full support from the Sanctuary and a rehoming pack including insurance and everything else that he needs.

So if you think you can give gorgeous Chunk a loving new home and would like to find out more, then please contact the sanctuary as follows:
