13/3/17 – We are very sad to hear that lovely Emily recently became very unwell and the rescue had to say goodbye to her. She had just been offered a new home too. The RSPCA said: “We are very grateful to her fosterers who have surrounded her with love, comfort and happiness for her last few weeks. Emily was safe and very happy and we cannot ask for more than that. Run free dear Emily.” :(

Emily is a wonderful 13 year old liver-spotted Dalmatian girl who is being rehomed by RSPCA Bryn y Maen Animal Centre and is currently in a foster home in North Wales. She is a beauty and her foster parents cannot fault her.

Sweet Emily was rehomed by Bryn y Maen some years ago but has sadly found herself back in their care following a change in circumstances. Now a mature lady, Emily has a few age related issues – being hard of hearing is the obvious one – but she maintains a very positive and cheerful attitude to life. And she loves food!

Emily gets on fine with dogs and she could potentially live with a cat, but would prefer a quiet home so doesn’t want to live with children. She is fine to be left on her own for short periods.

Sociable and good natured with a heart full of love, Emily is a great example of the Dalmatian personality. She loves a cuddle! Emily also enjoys going out for a stroll and can still move at quite a speed when the mood takes her, and she relishes a roll around in the grass.

Emily is hoping she will soon find a loving new home where she can enjoy her retirement to the full. Her wish list includes plenty of soft beds and tasty treats, and humans who like snuggles.

If you love oldie Dalmatians, Emily could be the girl for you. Remember to phone about her first as she is now in a foster home and not at the kennels.
