10/04/17 – Dear old Rosie was too poorly to keep going. She was suffering and the decision was made to let her go. Sleep tight lovely girl.

Lovely Rosie is a senior Chocolate Labrador who’s exact age is unknown. She’s in the care of Rain Rescue in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. She’s a laid-back lady and loves all humans. A family with older, sensible children would be fine for her. She’s great with other dogs and would be happy to live with one or more. She hasn’t shown any interest in cats at the rescue, so she might be able to live with a confident cat after careful introductions. She’s a cheerful and relaxed girl who has a wonderful happy smile on her face nearly the time!

Rosie is a very friendly old girl. She enjoys meeting people, as well as other dogs. She walks beautifully on the lead and has a stately pace, which you can see in the following video of Rosie and some of her new friends at rescue.

Rosie was a stray and had poorly eyes and skin when she arrived. They’re now being treated but, if the treatment doesn’t resolve things, she might need an operation. Rain Rescue are offering to pay for this if it’s carried out at their own vets in Sheffield. Beyond this, they cannot offer further help but she’s such an affectionate, happy dog that she’s well worth a bit of TLC!
