Dear Benji sadly spent three months in stray kennels in Durham after being found as a stray there. When he started to shut down and refuse to eat, Pawprints to Freedom stepped in to help. He is now in foster care in Hull, East Yorkshire, and his confidence is growing daily.

Benji is 8 years old and is a quiet, gentle and shy boy. Most of the time, you don’t know he’s even there, well, that is until you get out his lead! He jumps for joy and comes alive then. Benji really, really loves his walks. He walks perfectly on a lead and will stick closely by your side.

Benji is also amazing with other dogs and thoroughly enjoys it when he’s with younger, more playful dogs, clearly reliving the puppyhood he never had.

Benji is neutered and has no known, current health conditions.
