24/09/18 – Beryl has found a forever foster placement! Congratulations all round!
Beryl the poppet is about 12 years old and she loves everyone! She’s currently in kennels at Good Life Dog Rescue in Leeds and urgently needs a comfy home with her own people to adore. She’s available either to adopt or long term foster, if it helps her to find that sofa with her name on it.
Beryl likes her walks to be short and stately, like her! She’s very good with meeting other dogs out and about, so she’s a pleasure to potter about with. She’d prefer being an only pet at home though. Other dogs do seem to need bossing about sometimes, she finds, which isn’t very relaxing for anyone. Plus, she deserves all the fuss!
Beryl is great with children as she knows that all humans are potentially there to stroke and cuddle her. If they’re lucky, they’ll get the full kissy works from this loving lady. When she finds herself in a crowd, she will graciously let everyone take it in turns to show their appreciation of her magnificence!
Beryl has a bit of arthritis in her back legs so a gentle pace to life is what she’s looking for. She’s spayed and recently had an operation for pyometra, which she’s bounced back from wonderfully.
