1/10/18 – Gorgeous duo, Daisy & Poppy found a foster home and have now been adopted by their fosterers. Brilliant news!
Delightful Daisy (Jack Russell cross, 10 years old) and her best pal Poppy (Collie cross, 17 years old) are looking for a retirement home together with the help of Bath Cats and Dogs Home.
They can live with older children, as long as Poppy gets plenty of rest. She doesn’t really need to get out for walks these days. She’d be happy just pottering around the garden. Bless her!
Daisy, on the other hand, is eager to go for a walk and sniff. Neither are happy meeting other dogs, so Daisy should be kept on a lead and in quiet areas for her walks. She doesn’t want any trouble and will try to avoid dogs if possible. She’s typically bright terrier, who enjoys playtimes and puzzles. She’s not quite ready for a slow life just yet!
They both love meeting people and will greet you with lovely waggy tails. Daisy and Poppy are happy in each other’s company so can be left for a few hours. They may suit a working household with the day broken up at lunch time with a garden perusal at least.

These ladies really love each other and they deserve to have a comfortable forever home with a kind human or two, to belong to. Daisy is fit and well but, sadly, Poppy only has a few months left. Therefore, Daisy is available for adoption but Poppy will be fostered out, with all her vet costs covered.
It’s now urgent that they find a loving home so that Poppy can be happy for the time she has left and also Daisy will a family to help her adapt and feel secure when the time comes. But let’s not get maudlin, life is about togetherness and fun after all!
