1/6/18 – Elf and Mary found a home!

Elf and Mary are cute times two. This bonded pair of Bichon Frises are around 8 years of age and are being cared for in a foster home, courtesy of Friends of the Animals. Although they look the same and love each other very much, they do have two very distinct, funny little characters to keep you entertained at all times. What they have in common, however, is that they are both loving and affectionate little dogs who will make devoted companions to their lucky new humans.

Elf!

Mary is the more confident of the pair, despite the fact that she is blind in one eye. Elf relies on Mary for reassurance. Both like to watch you and follow you around. They find human activities fascinating. Elf loves a nice game of chase!

Mary!

Mary enjoys human interaction. Elf takes a little more time to get used to people and keeps close to Mary when first meeting new people. Mary likes playing with other dogs while again, Elf needs a little time to instigate play time.

Since they are so closely bonded, they are fine to be left as long as they are together. They keep each other occupied, although Elf will let you know when she is bored! Since they are ex-breeder, they are just getting used to living in a house and will need some work with house training.

Elf again!

These two ladies need to stay together. They can live with other dogs, but it would be nice if they can be only dogs so they can get all the love and attention they deserve. They would love a lot of human interaction, even though they enjoy each other’s company when left.

The two of them love going out for walks, but they are fine with a calmer home and just a short walk per day. That way they can maximise their time in bed watching the world go by. They would love a nice garden for sunbathing, and no steps please! They are simply not used to them.

Elf and Mary can live with children over 8. They have not been cat-tested. Potential adopter are expected to meet them in their foster home.

If these two ladies can spend the rest of their lives with you, please contact Friends of the Animals as follows:
