Grandma Gladys sadly was abandoned by her owners in Romania to fend for herself. Luckily, she was taken in by a rescuer there and came into the care of Saving Romanian Strays. She is now settled in a foster home near Glasgow, Scotland until her special someone takes her home.

Gladys before

Gladys is anywhere between 10 and 14 years old. She loves the comfort of a cuddle and likes to be close to you. She needs a nice quiet home where she will be given undivided attention and all the home comforts a lady of her age deserves.

Gladys after

Gladys was taken straight to the vets on arrival where she was cleaned up and given a haircut and a full check-up. Despite all her issues, Gladys is just the sweetest of souls and surprisingly sprightly. She walks on a lead and is clean in the house once she knows her way around. She is totally blind and suffers from hypothyroidism, but this is under control with very inexpensive medication.

Her foster carer has been using a crate for her when unable to give her undivided attention due to the number of dogs in the home and she has taken to it very well.
