Koffie is a 13-year-old Jack Russell girl and Maisie the Labrador is her 12-year-old best friend. These lovely girls are sadly having to look for a new home together in their senior years due to their owner’s eviction. They are in kennels with RSPCA Essex South, Southend & District Branch.

Understandably, poor Koffie and Maisie are feeling a little perturbed by their new circumstances, but they are now starting to settle in to life in kennels, bless them.

Koffie is still an active girl and is interested in walks, but Maisie was overweight and had not been exercised for some time, so she has been slowly reintroduced to walks. They are both housetrained and travel well.

Koffie and Maisie were used to be around visiting grandchildren at their former home, but due to their age they would prefer a home where children are old enough to understand and be sensitive to a senior dog’s needs.

Could you offer Maisie and Koffie a new home together?
