25/8/19 – Lovely Winnie has found a home!
Winsome Winnie is a mature Labrador in the care of Rain Rescue in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. She can live with children from age 8, other friendly dogs and possibly cats with steady introductions. She’s a lovely placid lady!
Winnie is not what you’d call athletic. Pottering, snuffling walks are fine for her but she can still be strong, in a plodding sort of way. She’ll appreciate having a garden to relax in and toys to try and work out what to do with.
As is typical of well-rounded Labs, Winnie is friendly with everyone. She loves humans and other dogs alike. As is also typical, she is extremely food orientated. She has one of the most compelling “please may I have a tit bit?” faces ever!
But you must resist! She doesn’t want to get too tubby as she has some stiffness in her legs and is on daily pain relief for it. It doesn’t stop her enjoying everything about life, especially fuss…
and food!
