26/5/20 – Lovely Daisy has found a new home with a previous KGR adopter!
Daisy is a very sweet 11-year-old Lurcher who is with Kent Greyhound Rescue, in foster in Sheerness, Kent. Note that although they normally rehome throughout the UK, during Covid 19 they can only rehome in Kent, East Sussex, London or Herts.
Dear Daisy has lived with a retired gentleman for the past 6 years and had a lovely life, after originally being found as a stray with her teeth ground down – probably to stop her being able to leave marks on whatever she was being trained to collect. She is currently living in a foster home with older greyhounds. She has settled in both types of home.
Daisy is great with other dogs and is ignoring cats. Daisy loves the idea of going for a walk but is not keen on walking too far, bless her, she enjoys pottering. She was used to having her owner around a lot of the time, but she can be left for a few hours. She travels very well in the car.
Pretty Daisy is just a very good girl who would like a nice calm home to relax in and enjoy some gentle companionship.
Could you offer Daisy a lovely home?
