25/9/20 – Kai has found a fabulous new home!

Kai is a gorgeous 12-year-old German Shepherd girl who is at Freshfields Animal Rescue in Liverpool due to a change in her family’s circumstances.
4 years ago Kai was found tied to the gates of a farm and all their attempts to find her original family were unsuccessful. The family who owned the farm decided to keep Kai and that is where she has been for the past 4 years, but sadly a change in circumstances has resulted in Kai losing her home once more.
Kai is such a sweet girl has one of the most faultless temperaments Freshfields have ever known. She is so gentle, friendly and she loves everyone she meets! She has been no trouble at all and is clean and quiet in her kennel. They are keen to find her a warm, loving home in time for the cooler months.
Kai is good with other dogs but it is not known how she will be with cats, although she did play with a goat when she lived at the farm! Kai could live with sensible children over the age of 12.
The ideal home for Kai will be a quiet environment with someone around for most/all of the day. She absolutely deserves to be spoilt rotten in her golden years.
Kai is obviously an older girl and had not seen a vet for a long time before arriving in rescue. She will be undergoing surgery on 2nd September to remove a lump from her elbow. Her blood results have came back clear. Apart from this, Kai is a little creaky on her legs and will need pain relief to help with this.
Beautiful Kai is a real superstar and will make the most loyal companion. Freshfields have fallen in love with her and whoever adopts her will be truly blessed.
