27/8/2020 Lovely Leila has been overwhelmed with applications and she is now reserved pending home check thanks to the Oldies Club.

Lovely, gentle Leila has without doubt had it tough in her homeland of Romania; she was captured from the streets in late 2019 after losing a whole litter of puppies and, sadly, was kennelled all winter in one of the countries public shelters. Due to lockdown, she has had to wait until recently to travel and is now content, warm and cared for in a foster home in York under the care of Cloud K9 Rescue.
Leila is approximately 7 years old and is the size of a large Beagle/small Labrador. She has adapted to living in a home with ease, enjoying the comforts it brings and the care that is being bestowed on her which she so deserves. She has an easy-care coat, is clean in the home and walks well on a lead. She will need a home where she will have company most of the day.
Leila is looking for a peaceful, calm home with people who enjoy the company of a gentle dog, but also like going for steady walks and are prepared to introduce her to the joys of living in the U.K. at her pace.
Leila is very good around children but it’s felt that a home with children 24/7 may be a little too hectic for her, although she would no doubt enjoy visiting children. She is good with other dogs but, again, would prefer a steady companion rather than rough and tumble. Leila has not been cat-tested but this can be arranged.
Leila is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
