28/05/2020 – Milo has been adopted! Hooray!
Please help Milo by sharing this page!
Mr Milo is a stunningly gorgeous 8-9 year old Akita in the care of RADAR Dog Rescue in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. He’s been waiting far too long for his forever home which no one can understand because he’s such a loving, well behaved boy!
Milo is looking for a settled home with no children or other pets. He’s good with dogs he meets out on walks but really wants a peaceful home life. He walks nicely on the lead and is a friendly, happy chap.
Akitas are pretty big but so intelligent and poised, they somehow don’t take up all that much space. Milo is looking for owners who are familiar with the breed, although any Spitz breed experience would be good. He needs calm humans who know their own minds and will be consistent in what they expect of him. You can expect plenty of love and playfulness from Milo!
Milo is very affectionate with his people. He’s all about family and home. He can be a bit protective but no more so than an average Akita. He does have the breed’s natural grace and style, although he’s a bit of a soppy-head too!
Milo has recently been staying in foster care and has proven to be a delightful house guest, once he realised there wasn’t room on the bed for both him and his foster Mum!
He’s impeccably clean in the home and a joy to have around. He loves a bit of garden pottering.
Milo is a cheerful, cuddlesome boy who will be the perfect companion to the right owners. He has a lovely smile and when excited, his whole body wags!
