21/02/20 – Nancy has found a home!
11-year-old Nancy is a very sweet-natured, tiny little Stafford girl who is with Good Life Dog Rescue, in kennels in South Yorkshire. Good Life Dog Rescue prefer to rehome their dogs within Yorkshire/Lancashire/Derbyshire areas, but would consider slightly further afield for the ideal home.
Nancy is super affectionate and full of character. She adores people and loves to climb on your knee for cuddles and a biscuit. She doesn’t act her age and is certainly not backwards in coming forwards, bless her! She has lots of front and lots of personality and she is absolutely adored by the rescue who hope she finds the wonderful home she deserves very soon. Kennels are no place for any dog, and certainly not ones who are older.
Nancy has shown no issues with other dogs at the kennels and chooses to ignore them even if they are barking. She could possibly live with a nice-natured, calm castrated male dog, but she would love to be your only dog and have all your love and attention. She needs a steady life, moderate walks and most of all company. She would suit a retired couple or person who longs for a companion to take out for regular walks. Nancy adores attention and being in the limelight. She is good with children and can live with children aged 6 plus.
She has been fully health checked and vaccinated. As with all senior dogs it is essential that she keeps active to prevent arthritic problems in the future. A home where she won’t be left long hours would be ideal, although she should cope well with being alone for a short time. This little lady is very deserving of a new start as soon as possible.
Could cuddly little Nancy be your new best friend?
