26/10/20 – These beauties have found a home already!
Poppy is a 15-year-old Jack Russell and Pip is a 12-year-old Border Terrier Cross. These two sweet ladies are with Rain Rescue in South Yorkshire as their owner was too poorly to care for them.
Pip is very active and will walk, run and play for ages, but Poppy is wanting a more sedate life. They love to race each other on their walks, and steal each other’s toys when the other one isn’t looking.
They could potentially live with a compatible dog but they need a home without cats and small furries. Children would need to be kind older ones.
After playing with their toys, the squeakier the better, and giving plenty of kisses to their human, it’s time to assume their position – Pip snuggled fully under a cosy blanket head to waggy tail, and Poppy curled up on a warm lap. Both are suspected of dreaming of chicken and their favourite sausage treats. Both girls love to meet new people and they have already stolen many hearts with their sweet temperaments and funny personalities. They truly bring happiness to anyone that meets them.
They have been health checked and vaccinated and Pip has recently had a dental. Poppy has a very low grade heart murmur but the vets aren’t that worried about it and didn’t recommend any medication. Both girls are microchipped. They will leave Rain’s care with the food they have been enjoying in rescue. Pet Plan will provide you with 4 week free insurance. They have a joint adoption fee of £250.
Could you offer Poppy and Pip a new home?
