19/2/21 – After an urgent appeal, Saffy found her ideal foster home and she has now been adopted!
—————-
Little Saffy Patterdale recently came into the Oldies Club rescue after the death of her owner. Saffy has led a very sheltered life with an elderly person and isn’t used to anything else. Saffy is really struggling with family life in her current foster home and it is making her so anxious. It seems that Saffy isn’t really used to being given boundaries and so her new foster carer will need to be experienced with terriers.
Saffy is 7 years old and she weighs about 11kg. She is OK to be left on her own for 2 or 3 hours. She isn’t used to car travel and isn’t a good traveller, so ideally needs a foster home that is in the North East as she is currently in Newcastle Upon Tyne. It seems that Saffy isn’t really used to being given boundaries and so her new foster carer will need to be experienced with terriers.
Saffy needs a quiet foster home with little traffic or general noise in the vicinity. She also can’t cope with children or other animals as she hasn’t socialised much in the past. She is used to going for walks on her lead and she is in good general health and is neutered.
Although we are initially seeking a foster home, we would be very happy to hear from anyone wanting to foster Saffy with a view to subsequent adoption.
This is a very urgent appeal. Please could you help Saffy?
