6/10/21 – Fudge has found a new home where she is doing very well!

Friendly Fudge is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Boxer Cross and is 11 year old. She’s currently enjoying life in a foster home in Worcestershire provided by Senior Staffy Club and she is looking for a new home with people around most of the time, preferably the main person home with her is female (she bonds better with the ladies).

Fudge came into rescue when her owners had to move and couldn’t take her with them. She was overwhelmed on arrival as she can be a little shy to begin with, but she soon realised she could go for lovely walks and settled into her foster home. This is what her foster Mum has to say:

“Fudge has a very sweet nature and is friendly, playful, relaxed around strangers and greets visitors to the house calmly. She likes cheese, cheese spread, pigs ears, tripe, lots of fuss and bum scratches. She loves sunbathing and her walks … she gets so excited about going out. She walks well on the lead, but can pull if she sees a dog, etc. She will take an interest in people when you walk past closely, so you need to be aware. Fudge dislikes the vets and wears a muzzle for her visits though she isn’t keen on wearing her muzzle.

Fudge really dislikes being left alone and will bark the whole time. She isn’t keen on other dogs, but isn’t reactive and doesn’t bark at them. She isn’t keen on cats or small furries. She has recently had surgery to remove mammary masses. The histology results were good and clear margins were taken. She loves a snooze on the sofa, and your bed, but is also happy in her own bed. She sleeps through the night, and is a bit of a snorer.”

Fudge has not really been around little people and she is really looking for a pet-free home with children aged 14 years+. She has no other medical conditions than described above and has been spayed.
