26/1/22 – Brilliant news for Banda! She has a new home lined up.
——————-

Gorgeous 7-year-old Banda came from a horrid public shelter in Greece and is very happy to now be with Blind Dog Rescue UK, fostered in Norfolk. She weighs about 20 kilos and is spayed.

Bands is a sweet girl who will flourish in a loving home and will show the beautiful girl that she is. She is happy with a soft bed and a kind word. She is blind and can possibly only see shadows. Banda is good on the lead and loves to go out for a 20-30 minute walk at least once a day.

She definitely prefers humans to dogs. She has a gentle and affectionate temperament with humans, and she has no issues with visiting children. Banda is very confident both in the house and when out walking. She is unsure about other dogs getting too close to her when out and will react if they are too close but she is fine when passing them on a walk.

Banda can be left in the house for 3-4 hours and is housetrained and non-destructive. She has a lovely playful side which is just starting to come out. She is food-oriented and this is useful for continuing her recall training using tasty treats. Banda must be an only dog and she needs a quieter home without visiting dogs. She would need placing in a different room if another dog did visit. It isn’t known how she is with cats but she can be rehomed to live with kind, sensible children aged 10+.

Could you offer beautiful Banda a quiet, dog-free home?
