24/3/22 – Lovely Bella has a new home!
——————
Bella is as beautiful as her name and has lived in a home all her life but, sadly, came into the care of RSPCA Essex South, Southend & District Branch after the passing of her previous owner.
Bella is nearly 9 years old and is a brindle Saluki. She is full of beans though she is not one to let her age stop her. Even though this lovely lady is not a youngster, she is still as young-hearted and sprightly as a puppy might be.
Bella tries to keep her spirits high, but she does get worried when being left and will try to hold onto her people to stay just a bit longer. Playtime is a favourite pastime, especially if footballs are involved, and she will happily zoom around a muddy field all day, but once some energy has been burned off (and the mud dried off her), it will be time for sofa snuggles, something Bella is an expert in.
Bella gets on well with other dogs and could potentially share her new home with one pending a dog introduction, but not with cats or small furries due to prey drive nature. Bella could live with children used to larger dogs and aged 10+. Someone around most of the time to start helping Bella settle would be great.
