This adorably cute pair of Cavapoos is Betsy, the mother aged 10 years old, and Reggie, the son aged 7 years old. They are a bonded pair and are looking for a loving, forever home together with the help of Doodle Rescue. Meantime, they are being cared for in a foster home in Wakefield where you will have to travel before applying to adopt them.
Betsy and Reggie have always lived together and family circumstances have meant that they are in need of a new home. They are currently in foster with other dogs.
Betsy is a beautiful, gentle little soul and she is very loving once she comes out of her shell, which doesn’t take long. She loves to be fussed and stroked, but with her four paws on the ground. She likes to lay on her own and find a cosy spot on the sofas. She likes to be with you and sleeps in her bed or on the floor beside her foster mum’s bed.
Betsy walks extremely well on the lead and, with time and training, her recall will develop. She loves her long walks and adventures. She may be 10 years old but is very fit and healthy and has no issues. She would be best suited to a cat-free home as she can be reactive towards the kitten in her foster home.
Reggie is Betsy’s son and he is absolutely adorable and wants to be with you constantly. He snuggles into you like a real life baby and he sleeps on his foster mum’s bed. Reggie shows signs of separation anxiety so will need someone around for most of the day. Like his mum, he loves his long walks and adventures and walks really well on the lead.
Both Betsy and Reggie will make wonderful family additions where any children are aged over 10 years old. They really are amazing and have adapted perfectly into foster with other dogs, so homes where there is a neutered/spayed resident dog who will be accepting to them both will be considered. There needs to be someone at home much of the time with ample time throughout the day for exercise, play, socialisation and training.
Betsy and Reggie are neutered and have received their booster vaccinations and a full health check while in foster. They also had a full dental so are ready to get settled into their new home. Betsy and Reggie will both be groomed before going to their new home and they will need to be groomed every 6-8 weeks and brushed daily. Please consider the costs of this for a pair when applying.
