22/6/2022 Cute little Billy has gone to his new home in lovely Cambridgeshire.

Until recently, cute Jack Russell Terrier, Billy, shared a home with multiple other terriers of all ages. Unfortunately, due to health issues, their owner was unable to walk the dogs so they had been restricted to a small property and garden for a considerable period of time. When the situation deteriorated further, staff from the Chilterns Dog Rescue Society in Tring, Hertfordshire collected Billy and all his friends to give them a fresh start.
Billy is a tri-colour, smooth-coated Jack Russell Terrier and he is 9 years of age (dob 6/4/2013). He is a sweet-natured boy who is only now beginning to come out of his shell after such a sheltered life. He is getting on well with both the staff and the volunteers and is eager to please.
Billy is especially enjoying long walks in the fields and woods where he can’t believe all the new sights, sounds and smells. He is also revealing his true terrier instincts, the possibility of chasing squirrels is of particular interest!
Billy is looking for a quieter home where he will receive plenty of on-lead exercise. He is used to having someone at home all day, but shopping trips and other short periods of time alone should not present him with too many problems. He has done little or no travelling by car but has not been fazed by short trips to the vet.
Billy’s ideal home would include a secure garden, no cats or small fluffies, and no regular contact with small children. After living for so long with lots of dogs, Billy would probably prefer to retire to a home where he will receive all the attention, but a compatible lady friend could also work well.
Billy is inoculated, microchipped and neutered and, apart from some tartar on his teeth, has no known health issues.
