31/05/2022: Bruno has been adopted! Hooray!
This is Bruno, a handsome, 10 year old, medium-size Crossbreed who is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. He is not currently living at Freshields Animal Rescue and is with his family while the Rescue help him to find a new home.
Bruno is friendly and is still very active for his age and loves getting out and about. He can be strong on the lead but does settle as the walk goes on, so he will need someone who is confident they can handle this. He is a placid, older boy who is very polite when he greets people. As he is aging, his owner has found him to be a little less tolerant of dogs on walks and would prefer to be kept away to enjoy some peace and quiet. He has grown up around teenagers so is used to family life; however, now that he is older, he doesn’t like to be pestered and would like a quiet home.
Bruno loves company so would prefer a home with people who are around most of the time. He is used to being left for a few hours but preferably not too frequently. He gets on with other dogs and currently spends time at home with another crossbreed. However, they are not left unsupervised and his owners feel he would be best suited to being the only dog in the home. Bruno has never lived with cats so is looking for his next home to be pet-free.
Bruno will have a full health check with the vet prior to adoption and he currently has no ongoing medical issues. He is neutered and vaccinated.
