22/6/22 – Brilliant news for gorgeous Henley – he’s found a fabulous new home!
——————–
Henley is an absolutely gorgeous, happy and friendly 10-year-old brindle and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is in the care of Cheadle & District Animal Welfare Society. They normally rehome only within the Staffordshire Moorlands and surrounding areas.
Poor Henley’s devoted owner sadly died in January 2022, so Henley is looking for a new companion to love, who in return will be able to give Henley lots of attention and company.
Although 10 years old, Henley still enjoys walks, especially ones where he can sniff plenty and generally enjoy himself. He is a bit wobbly at times but walks nicely, although if he saw something interesting he may want to pull towards it to investigate, and he is quite stong then. He really loves to play with a ball and can get very excitable when playing. He is hard of hearing so the rescue is working to get him to look at his walker more often so that he will see if you are giving him visual commands, or simply to interact with him.
Henley needs someone who is active but will be at home a lot for him, and a home with a lovely garden that he can play in and enjoy. He is also happy to sit and relax with you. He enjoys a car journey and sits nicely in the car. A home where he is the only dog so he can be the focus of attention would be best, with someone who will continue the training to compensate for his lack of hearing.
He had a skin and ear condition, but these are now clear. Cheadle & District Animal Welfare Society will take responsibility for any veterinary treatment he may need in the future, via the Limetrees Veterinary Hospital, Meir Park, Stoke on Trent.
Could you offer Henley a home in the Staffordshire Moorlands area?
