21/4/22 – Gorgeus Tokoda has gone to his new home!
Tokoda is a 10-year-old Staffy boy who is in an Oldies Club foster home in Crowland, Lincolnshire, waiting for someone to offer him a permanent home.
Settled well in foster: Tokoda took about a day to settle in foster care. He is an archetypal staffy ‘velcro dog’ who loves to be by your side, especially on the sofa.
Can be left: He is fine to be left alone for a few hours when you need to go out, however he does love to be with his human so wouldn’t suit a home with people who go out to work.
Fine with dogs: Tokoda is fine with other dogs and likes to play with them when out and about. He could possibly share his new home with a compatible dog.
Unknown with cats: We are looking for a cat-free home for Tokoda.
OK with older children: Small children make Tokoda nervous so any children in his new home would need to be kind and sensible ones aged about 10 years plus.
Enjoys walks: Tokoda loves his walks and is good on the lead and has good recall.
Whines in the car: Tokoda is OK in the car but he does whine as he wants to be close to you.
Tokoda’s favourite pastimes: He enjoys going for walks, playing with a rubber ring, and snuggling up close to his human.
Tokoda’s dislikes: The vacuum cleaner.
His ideal home: Tokoda would like a home with someone at home all day as he likes to have company.
Health notes: Tokoda is neutered, vaccinated, wormed and flea-treated. He has no current health issues.
More from Tokoda’s foster carers: “He is a very loving boy who gets excited for walks. He will talk to you when he needs toilet. He likes his dentastick at bedtime. Tokoda is a very affectionate dog and likes to be close to you all the time.”

Tokoda can be rehomed anywhere on the UK mainland – the closer to his foster home the better though – subject to a satisfactory home visit. Note that you will be required to travel to the foster home to collect him.
