18/1/2023 – We’ve heard the lovely news that Marley has found his new home!
—————
Marley is a beautiful 8 year old, male, Siberian Husky. He came into the care of RSPCA Altrincham from the inspectors and, sadly, it appears he has been passed around and had a few homes through no fault of his own. Marley is now living in Poynton, Cheshire.
Despite this, Marley is a good natured, lovely and friendly boy. On first impressions, he may not seem to be overly affectionate. However, once he gets to know you, he is extremely loving and will literally snuggle into you for lots of cuddles.
Marley is a good boy on walks and does not seem too bothered when coming across other dogs. He can be quite strong though, so his owner will need to be physically able to exercise him. He also travels well in the car and is house-trained. Marley is best suited to someone who has experience with larger breed dogs and who will enjoy giving him plenty of exercise as Huskies are active dogs.
Marley could possibly be rehomed with children of secondary school age and possibly another dog, though as there is not much background on him, he probably would be better suited to being an only dog. He definitely cannot be rehomed with cats as he has a strong desire to chase and has also shown a keen interest in chasing farm animals.
Please note that Marley’s thick coat will require regular grooming to keep it in good condition. He has been neutered and has no known medical issues.
