6/3/22 – Penny and Roxy have found a home
—————-
Penny and Roxy are a delightful devoted pair of lurchers who need a new home together. They are at Ferne Animal Sanctuary near Chard in Somerset and can be rehomed within a 40 mile radius of the sanctuary.
Penny is the grey one and she’s a 10-year-old lurcher, weighing 16kg. Roxy is her younger friend and she is a 5-year-old bull lurcher, weighing 24kg. These gorgeous girls are very friendly and affectionate. Although not related, they are very close to one another so they need to stay together. They are both spayed.
Penny and Roxy have sadly never had a loving owner or a place to call home as they have lived in outside kennels all their lives. They cannot wait to enjoy the home comforts they have never had. The girls will need house training, but they will repay your kindness and patience with lurcher love in abundance.
Their ideal home will have plenty of space for them to run around and play together, and also have a sofa for them to lounge on. They are the sweetest of dogs who are looking for a special home with a patient owner who has the time to give them the care and attention they need. They are not used to living with cats or children, so a home without them would be best.
Are you the special person to offer Penny and Roxy the happy life they’ve never had?
