3/2/23 – Riza is staying in permanent foster care
Bid To Save A Stray are proud to present the irrepressible Riza! Her passport guesses her age to be 15 but she has so much energy and such good teeth that she’s believed to be more like 8-years-old. Her wise looks belie her youthful outlook, that’s for sure!
Riza would suit being an only pet in an adult only home with owners who are active and like long walks in the countryside. She’s happy to be left on her own for a few hours and will just settle down…
…but does needs plenty of exercise and general outdoorsiness.
Riza adores attention. The only reason she’d better not live with children is that she can be boisterous and weighs a substantial 30kg so she could easily bowl over a little ‘un. She loves fuss from anyone!
Riza doesn’t like meeting other dogs so she will need to be walked at quiet times and places. She also doesn’t like being near traffic. She’s a country girl really. She would like to go to somewhere she can safely run freely. She still has a few residual fear-based behaviours, such as cowering if she thinks she’ll be hurt or being nervous of new situations.
Her confidence has grown with being in foster. She loves being out and about with her humans as much as she loves being at home and fussed by them. Now she just needs some people of her very own.
