29/10/22 – Lovely news for Tanny, as she’s been adopted by her foster carer!

Tanny is a gorgeous 10-year-old lurcher who is with Jerry Green Dog Rescue, in Algakirk, South Lincolnshire.
Tanny is looking for a quiet retirement home. She is calm and very sweet natured, and she greets everyone with a soft tail wag. Tanny can be the only dog in her new home but she also has potential to live with other dogs, if well managed. She can’t live with cats but can live with children aged 14 years old and over.
She is currently in a foster home, recovering from a mammary strip, which is healing nicely. This lovely old girl doesn’t ask for much: a sofa, a cushion to rest her head on, nice food, short walks around the block, and a relaxing garden to sunbathe in. She likes to share your bed, or sleep downstairs in the kitchen on her duvet.
She is housetrained but needs to be let out overnight for a wee, or to sleep in an area that’s easy to clean, with puppy pads down. If a door is open, she will take herself outside to toilet.
Tanny can be left for an hour or two while you do your shopping and will always be pleased to see you return. She travels well but does need lifting in and out of vehicles. You can see from her photos how much she has been enjoying van life!
