12/02/2023 Cute Andre and Kimo have found a new home after being seen on the Oldies Club website.

Andre and Kimo are two cute little Shih Tzus aged 10 and 8 years old, respectively. They are being fostered by Starfish Dog Rescue in Gloucestershire with other dogs and cats. Please bear in mind they are a grooming breed and so there is extra expense involved.
These two little ones have come into rescue because of sad personal circumstances and, what makes this even sadder, is that they lost their home before 4 years ago when their previous owner went into a home. They are very bonded to each other so they cannot be separated. Little Andre is more independent, whereas little Kimo likes to keep an eye on you. Both are lovely little dogs and everything will be done to make sure the next home is their final home.
Andre and Kimo seem very sweet boys and are fine with the other dogs, people and cats, as you can see from this video here. They are such loving little ones who also really enjoy their walks in the countryside and this needs to continue as they love being out and chasing their little balls. They travel fine in a crate together and sleep in the kitchen at night. There have been a few accidents but it’s probably more a settling in thing.
Both Andre and Kim are neutered, vaccinated and will require a quiet retirement home as this is all they have ever known. The Rescue has all their vet records and they have been looked after well. Andre can suffer with allergies so periodically has to have medication to stop itching. It could be linked to the food they are on which is being changed. Kimo has had an eye removed but copes fine and you would never know as you can see from the other videos listed here.
