27/11/23 – Anil has been rehomed!
————
Cute and cuddly, Anil is a sweet blind boy who would suit a quiet, adult-only home with someone who does not need to take him for walks and understands that he must not come into contact other dogs ever. Meantime, he is being cared for by Saving and Rehoming Strays in Ayr, Scotland. He is currently in a kennel all on his lonesome and would love have a home of his own.
Anil’s passport says he is 7 years old but it’s believed he is more likely around 10. He is about Cocker Spaniel size and weighs around 14 – 15kg). He really would suit a home that is happy to have snuggles and let him explore a nice, secure garden with no need to interact with any dogs.
Anil just loves people and is super friendly to everyone. He can be a bit mouthy (albeit gently) if approached without warning, so it’s a good idea to talk to him before touching so he knows you are coming. For this reason, any home must be child-free as this would probably be too much for Anil.
Anil hates dogs and will instantly grab and attack. It is likely he was attacked previously and his blindness means he is extra vulnerable. This means he can never be walked and, for this reason, he is looking for a home with a secure garden where ideally there are no dogs walking past or in the neighbouring area.
In the right home, you will get a sweet, loving and gentle dog who will follow you round and give you lots of affection and cuddles. If this sounds like you, the Rescue would love you to get in touch.
